1. By purchasing a ticket, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. The raffle is organised by Clapham Village Hall, High Street, Clapham, MK41 6BP.

3. The raffle is promoted as a registered small society lottery in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005 and applicable local authority registration requirements. The licence number from Bedford Borough Council is LOTT2220.

4. Tickets cost £5.00 each. All tickets are sold at the same price and payment must be made in full before entry into the draw is accepted.

5. Tickets will be sold in person only and in advance of the draw in the weeks before the draw and on the day of it. Tickets will not be sold online, by telephone or by any other remote means.

6. The draw will take place at the Clapham village event on 22 August 2026.

7. Entrants must be aged 16 or over. Tickets must not be sold to or by anyone under the age of 16.

8. Ticket purchasers should retain their ticket or ticket stub as proof of entry.

9. The prize is as advertised by the organisers. No cash alternative will be offered.

10. Winning ticket numbers will be drawn at random.

11. Winners may be announced at the event and may also be contacted using the details provided at the time of purchase, where such details have been supplied. v 12. If a winner cannot be contacted, or does not claim a prize within a reasonable time specified by the organisers, Clapham Village Hall reserves the right to withdraw the prize and, if appropriate and lawful, redraw or otherwise deal with the prize at its discretion.

13. Any personal information provided in connection with the raffle will be used only for the administration of the raffle and related record-keeping, and will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection law.

14. Clapham Village Hall reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions where necessary to comply with law, regulation or administrative requirements, provided that any such changes do not unfairly affect entrants.

15. If the draw date has to be changed for any reason, Clapham Village Hall will make reasonable efforts to notify ticket holders as soon as practicable.

16. By purchasing a ticket, entrants acknowledge that the raffle is being run to support the purposes of Clapham Village Hall and that at least the minimum proportion of proceeds required by law will be applied for those purposes.

17. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or disqualify any entry where they reasonably believe these terms and conditions or applicable law have been breached.

18. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
