Cllr Jane Walker and Clapham Parish Council representatives are continuing to work closely with all affected wards and their representatives.

In a joint statement, they said “this announcement takes us no further forward without the underlying business case and details on the environmental impact. What is East West Rail hiding? Residents who are affected will clearly be devastated, and all residents of this Borough deserve to be given meaningful information about what is happening in our area. We continue our calls for East West Rail to provide full disclosure to residents, local authorities and government. We as your councillors are working with Mayor Tom Wootton and meeting with Richard Fuller MP to discuss next steps."
